About Us
The Hedin Family was established on May 10,2008 in the Salt Lake temple. Dan served a mission In Ribeirao Preto, Brazil with my brother Chad. They were best buds on the mission. Dan always used to joke with Chad and say "Dude I'm going to Marry your sister some day." Little did he know it was REALLY going to happen. Dan wrote me once while in the mission field, of course I replied and he is certain he wrote back but I never got a second letter. On September 26,2007 I met Dan for the first time at the salt lake city airport, on the day they arrived home and the rest is history. The weekend after they came home we went on our first date, 3 months later we were engaged and 6 months after that we were married. Dan proposed On December 22,2007. Every year for my sister Celeste's birthday we go to the restaurant on top of the Joseph Smith memorial building called the Roof. This has been tradition for as long as I can remember. This time it was extra special for me to have Dan there with me. After dinner we went and walked around Temple Square, it was beautiful but freezing!! Dan then took me over to the conference building and led me up the stairs. I knew something was up when he started singing to me, I think I called him a dork as he continued to sing. Then he took me to a spot that looked out over the temple there he had my best friend scatter pink rose petals. He then picked up a pink rose, which had my ring tied to it, got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. It was a wonderful moment that I will never forget. We have been married for 6 months now and have loved every minute of it. We have come to realize that marriage is not easy but every day we love each other more and we have certainly learned a lot. Dan works at United First Financial as an agent support rep and loves it. He also is going to UVU majoring in Chemistry his goal is to be an orthopedic surgeon, so he has A LOT of schooling ahead of him but it will be well worth it in the end. He is such a hard worker and I am so proud of him and all his accomplishments. I on the other hand work at Gold Gross Ambulance as the Receptionist and like it as well. We are primary teachers for the 9&10 Year olds in our ward and love it. We are certainly blessed and look forward to the future!!
